Day 1
On arrival at Durban International Airport, you make your way to the Avis Desk, and collect your rented car. From the airport you drive to Ballito Bay, where you check in at the Boathouse for (4) nights on a bed and breakfast basis.
The Boathouse
Nestled between the fields of Natal "Green Gold", golden beaches and the warm Indian Ocean lies the coastal village of Ballito. Popular for spotting the Bottle-nose dolphin feeding along it's shores, Ballito is at the heart of the Dolphin Coast. It is here, on the beach front, that you will find The Boathouse. A luxury retreat inviting you to take a front seat in watching nature at play. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast overlooking Salmon Bay before setting out for an activity-filled day at one of the nearby golf courses or just soaking up the sun next to our pool. Use the direct access to the beach for lengthy strolls along the Dolphin Coast line, or simply watch the tide come in while sipping a sundowner from our fully licensed bar. Our en-suite rooms are each individually decorated with superb features like selected Satellite TV, Air-conditioning, Telephones and tea and coffee making facilities. With all the comfortable surroundings of soft furnishings and lush carpets you will soon find yourself at home at The Boathouse. Day 5
Today you drive inland to the battlefields district of Kwa Zulu Natal. Here you spend (3) nights at the Babanango Valley Lodge on a full board basis. Included in your stay is one guided tour of the battlefields in the area.

Today you drive onto the Zuka Private Game Reserve, where you spend (3) nights on a fully inclusive basis.
Zuka Private Game Reserve
Zuka Private Game Reserve is located in the heart of Northern Zululand. 3 hours drive north of Durban and 5 hours drive from Johannesburg. Zuka is also accessible by air, 1.5 hours flying from Johannesburg. The Zuka reserve is 1,350 hectares in extent and is situated at the foothills of the Lebombo Mountain Range, a rift valley that stretches from central Africa southwards to the Greater St. Lucia World Heritage Site. Zuka also neighbours Umfolosi, Mkunzi and Phinda reserves, this area provides great opportunities to spot the Big 5. The Camp overlooks a floodlit waterhole within the extinct Bumbeni Volcano crater, which attracts a wide spectrum of wildlife from the surrounding bush. The Bush Camp offers the African traveller the opportunity to experience the natural beauty and diversity of this area. Zuka’s rich vegetation attracts over 350 different species of bird including the endemic and really seen Pink throated twinspot, African Broadbill, Neargards sun Bird and Rudd’s Appalis. The Bush camp offers a high standard of service and a wide range of personalised bush and beach adventures. The camp accommodates ten guests in five comfortably appointed air conditioned suites, each with en-suite private facilities and modern amenities. Ideal for family getaways, small corporate conferences and team building trips.
