15 Day Victoria Falls, Safari, Blue Train and Cape Town

Day 1
On arrival in Johannesburg airport you are met, receive your documents and transferred to the Michelangelo Hotel where you stay overnight.

Michelangelo Hotel

Day 2
This morning you are collected from your hotel for your transfer to Johannesburg airport where you check in for your flight to Victoria Falls. On arrival in Victoria Falls you are met and transferred to the Kingdom Hotel where you stay for the next two nights.

The Kingdom Hotel
This is the closest hotel to the Victoria Falls. The hotel re-opened in the second quarter of 1999. The distinctive Zimbabwean design is based on the Great Zimbabwe monument in Masvingo. The competitively priced, three star, property is designed to appeal to a variety of customer groups. The new Kingdom's total room complement is 300 in separate two and three storey units. An attractive water feature in the form of a man made lake gives the impression of having been built on the edge of a lake. The lake is stocked with fish and a variety of bird life. There are 300 rooms including suites, interleading rooms and family rooms with bunk beds. The hotel is widely spread and is able to comfortably accommodate both the businessman, conference organizer, holiday maker and family. The hotel is a self enclosed resort, with the main features being a gaming room featuring interactive video games, creche and children's play area. Other services on offer are a photo shop, newsagent, pharmacy, bank, hairdresser / beauty salon, sweet shop and sun collection boutique. There is a rectangular shaped conference room with a maximum capacity of 320. This room can be subdivided into 4 separate rooms with a maximum capacity of 80 each. The Pre-assmebly area holds maximum capacities. The main conference room is supplemented by 3 breakaway rooms.

This morning you are collected from your hotel for your transfer to Victoria Falls airport where you check in for your flight to Johannesburg. On arrival in Johannesburg airport you are met and transferred to the Michelangelo Hotel where you stay overnight.

Day 5
This morning you are collected from your hotel for your transfer to Johannesburg airport where you check in for your flight to Hoedspruit. On arrival in Hoedspruit you are met and transferred to Thornybush Game Reserve and Shumbalala Lodge where you stay for the next four nights.

Thornybush Game Lodge

Day 9
This morning you are collected from your lodge and transferred back to Hoedspruit airport where you check in for your flight to Johannesburg. On arrival in Johannesburg you are met and transferred to the Michelangelo Hotel where you stay overnight.

Day 10
This morning you are collected from your hotel for your transfer to Pretoria Station where you board the Blue Train to Cape Town.

The Blue Train

Day 11
On arrival in Cape Town Station you are met and transferred to the Commodore Hotel where you stay for the next four nights.

The rest of the day is at leisure.

The Commodore Hotel
The Commodore Hotel is situated right next to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront and only 5 km from the Table Mountain. It is ideally situated for shopping, sightseeing, swimming or just relaxing at and enjoying one of it's many amenities and services, like: Swimming pool, gymnasium, sauna or make use of the nearby city shuttle service. All the rooms have and suites have private bathrooms with shower and toilet, hair dryers, radios, colour TV, air conditioning, direct dialling phones, tea and coffee making facilities and electric razor plug.

Day 12
This morning you are collected from your hotel for your scheduled full day Peninsula tour.

Peninsula Tour
Depart for the Cape of Good Hope along one of South Africa' most scenic routes. We will drive through Sea Point, visit Hout Bay. Continue through Constantia Nek to Kirstenbosch Botanicla Gardens. Kirstenbosch was established as a centre for the preservation and study of the indigenous flora of Southern Africa. All year round one can enjoy glorious living displays of wild flowers and the magnificent collection of Cycads, silver trees and other shrubs, plants and trees. Enjoy lunch in Kalk Bay (at own account). Then travel through the historic naval based town of Simon's Town, continuing onto Cape Point where two marine ecosystems and oceans are said to meet. Return to Cape Town via Ou Kaapse Weg.

Day 14
This morning you are collected from your hotel for your scheduled full day Winelands tour.

Winelands Tour
In 1679, Stellenbosch was founded. Home to many fine examples of Cape Dutch architecture, the town is famous for is's university and the oak trees that line it's quant streets. The tour visits a winery in this area for a cellar tour and wine tasting before taking an orientation tour of the town. The tour continues to the beautiful Franschhoek valley to visit Boschendal manor house, the celebrated historical estate. Lunch at own expense is enjoyed at one of the many good restaurants of the area. After lunch the tour takes in Paarl, "the pearl of the cape" and another wine tasting before returning to Cape Town.

Day 15
This morning you are collected from your hotel for your transfer back to Cape Town airport where you check in for your flight home.
