3 Day Chobe Wildlife Tented Safari
This Botswana safari starts and ends in Kazangula and includes a foray to the Chobe National Park.
Day 1: (Saturday) Chobe National Park
Our Chobe safari adventure commences at the Kazangula Border Post at eight-thirty. From here we proceed to Kasane, where participants are encouraged to purchase last items of a personal nature, as there are no shops within the confines of the Park. After a short introduction, we then kick off our Botswana safari by enjoying a three-hour long boat cruise through the Chobe National park, which allows participants to get up-close and personal with a bevy of bird species, hippo, crocodiles, elephants and more. Upon arrival at White Sands we are met by our guide and proceed on a game drive en route to our wilderness camp. Here, we enjoy lunch and settle into our tents before setting out for a late-afternoon game drive. We return to camp after dusk for dinner, drinks and fireside banter.
Day 2: (Sunday) Chobe National Park
We wake you up at dawn with a cheerful 'dumela' (good day) and a basin of warm water to freshen up. After a cup of hot coffee or tea we set out on an early morning game sighting excursion, as this is the best time to view the Big Cats, who are still active after their nocturnal hunt. Midmorning sees us returning to camp to enjoy a scrumptious bush brunch and a siesta to escape the glare of the midday sun. As soon as the mercury lowers to normal levels we set off again in search of more wildlife. On our return, drinks and dinner are served as we reminisce about our unforgettable Chobe safari in the wilds of the Chobe National Park.
Day 3: (Monday) Chobe National Park
You greet the dawn with yet another friendly 'dumela' and enjoy a cooked breakfast, while we ensure that all your belongings are securely packed before we head out on what is to be our final game drive. We arrive at Kazungula by nine, where our Botswana safari culminates.
