8 Day Northern Namibia
Day 1
On arrival in Windhoek airport you proceed to the Avis car rental kiosk where you collect your car rental. Group B (VW Polo or similar, Manual, Power steering, Radio/Tape, Air-conditioning). Drive towards the Otjiwarongo area and Okonjima Main Lodge where you stay overnight.
Okonjima
Nestled in the Omboroko Mountains, part of the Waterberg Plateau, lies the small, family run guest farm, and home of the AfriCat Foundation. AfriCat is a non-profit organisation committed to long-term conservation of Namibia's large carnivores, especially cheetahs and leopards. Okonjima offers a Main Camp with ten en suite double rooms and a luxury Bush Camp with eight unique African-style chalets, with only one object in mind, to make your stay the highlight of your trip through Namibia. Activities include the "Cheetah Tracking Trail" on foot or a visit to our Cheetah Project. Leopard viewing from the safety of a hide or radio-tracked from our game viewing vehicles. Guided and self-guided walking trails and with over 300 different species of birds that have been positively identifies - this is a must for bird watchers and photographers alike.

Day 2
Today you drive to the eastern side of the Etosha National Park and Mushara Lodge where you stay for the next two nights.
Mushara Lodge
Mushara Lodge is situated 8 km from the eastern entrance to the famous Etosha National Park. The lodge offers 10 twin-bedded bungalows, one family unit, two single rooms and three guide rooms, all stylishly decorated and with bathrooms en-suite, air-conditioning, mini bars, telephones an mosquito nets. Activities at Mushara include nature walks and game drives into the park. Our mission is to serve our guests as well as we possibly can and to comply with their every wish by means of our comprehensive wine list, high quality meals and dedicated and friendly staff.

Day 4
Today you drive through the Etosha National park to Ongava Lodge where you stay for the next two nights.
Ongava Lodge
Wallow in the unashamed luxury of one of Ongava's ten tastefully furnished chalets, each with air-conditioning, mini bar, bathroom and suite and a private balcony overlooking the expansive plains of the Ongava Game Reserve. Meals of the highest order are served in the spacious thatched lapa with its comfortable lounge area, convivial bar and magnificent views. Ongava offers daily game drives in open vehicles and walking trails, as well as excursions into the Etosha National Park. Game drives normally leave in the early morning and late afternoon, ideal times for game viewing. Dusk and night drives offer an opportunity of experiencing nature after dark. You will be accompanied by an ecologically aware game ranger who will guide you on an informative tour of the reserve. A number of safe and secure hides are available for guests wishing to spend time on up close wildlife viewing or photography.

Day 6
Today you drive to the Damaraland area and Damaraland Camp where you stay for the next two nights.
Damaraland Camp
Damaraland Camp, winner of a Silver Otter award for the best ecotourism project in the world, is set in the rugged beauty of central Damaraland on the northern slopes of the Huab River. This private paradise offers stunning silence, beauty and tranquility, in nine large up-market walk-in canvas chalets, each with en-suite bathroom. The main lodge houses a bar, lounge and dining area which overlooks the dramatic Huab River Valley. A rock pool built in a ravine is also a feature of this camp. Various activities include nature walks and morning game drives, in search of the rare, dessert-adapted elephants, thge elusive black rhino and various other species adapted to the harsh elements of this region.

Day 8
Today you drive back to Windhoek airport where you return your rental car before you check in for your flight.
