The weather in the mountains changes as often as the direction of a leaf in a stream, so be well equipped for any eventuality. Keep warm clothing, a hat, sun block, eye drops (for the crazy wind), fuel for your camping stove (you really do not want to be making dinner during a storm with firewood), and other survival goodies such as a knife will come in handy.

Water from any stream is usually safe to drink and most of the villages will have drinking water that may come from a nearby spring or borehole.
