Day 1
On arrival in Cape Town International Airport you are met and receive your documents. You are then transferred to Kleinbosheuwel Guest House where you stay for the next two nights.
Klein Bosheuwel Guest House
The two and a half acres of ground with towering old Oaks, Planes, Cinnamon Camphor's, Chestnuts and Silver Trees provide tranquil shady refuges during the hot summer days. At each end of the property there are salt-water swimming pools surrounded by lawns, rose gardens, indigenous proteas, restios and South African Aloes, blend together along the interesting garden paths. Both houses and 5 well appointed en-suite bedrooms enjoying beautiful views of either the gardens or the valley and mountains. Klein Bosheuwel is within a two-minute walk of the world famous Kirstenbosh Botanical Gardens.

Day 2
This morning your rental car will be delivered to your guest house. Group B, VW Polo or similar, manual, powersteering, air-conditioning and radio/tape. Today is at leisure to enjoy the many attractions that Cape Town has to offer.

Day 3
Today you drive to the outskirts of the Winelands area and the town
of Tulbagh where you stay overnight at Rijk's Ridge Country Hotel.

on the outskirts of the historic and picturesque Tulbagh village.
The gracious country house overlooks vineyards and a lake. Rijk's

mountain views. Visit Rijk's own private cellar and winery with its
range of superior wines, cellar tours and tasting's. Eat in the spacious

Day 4
Today you drive to the Cedarberg area and Mount Ceder Lodge where you stay for the next two nights.
Mount Ceder Lodge
Mount Ceder Lodge is a delightful lodge high in the Cedarberg, which offers both fully catered and self-catering accommodation. Mount Ceder is ideally situated for mountain hiking, fishing, swimming and visiting ancient rock paintings. The classic walks of Wolfberg Cracks and the Maltese Cross are 40 minutes drive away. The eight cottages range in size from charming one bedroom cottages to spacious four bedroom houses, all with Oregon pine furnishings. They are immaculately kept with obvious pride and attention to detail. Ideal for older children who enjoy walking, with cottages of various sizes.

Day 5
Today is at leisure to explore the surrounding areas. Mount Ceder is ideally situated for mountain hiking, fishing, swimming and visiting ancient rock paintings. The classic walks of Wolfberg Cracks and the Maltese Cross are 40 minutes drive away.

Day 6
Today you drive to the picturesque town of Clanwilliam where you stay at Ndedema Lodge for the next two nights. Enjoy dinner at Reynold's Restaurant in the Main Street.
Ndedema Lodge
Ndedema Lodge is a gracious new guest lodge in Clanwilliam in the historic Park Street, which contains a number of 1820 settler houses. The lodge offers some of the smartest accommodation in Clanwilliam with 3 en suite bedrooms each decorated with antiques in period style and each with a spacious bathroom. Great attention to detail has been shown with dressing gowns for guests, complimentary sherry and a special pamper box for relaxation. Wilma Jacobs is an excellent host and provides delicious breakfasts in the dining room or on the vine-covered patio. Dinners and lunches by arrangement. Today you can take a day trip to the fisherman's village of Lambert's
Bay or the lovely old town of Wupperthal.

Day 8
Today you drive north to Bushmanskloof Wilderness Reserve or Oudrif Farm where you stay for the next two nights.
Bushmans Kloof Wilderness Reserve
This is an exciting Wilderness Reserve, less than 3 hours from Cape Town in the foothills of the majestic Cederberg Mountains. The reserve offers luxury en suite lodges with private patios and guests have the use of a sauna, billiard room, swimming pool and library. From August to October the veld bursts into colour, making this an exceptional spring flower destination. The dramatic scenic beauty of the area is enhanced by over 125 ancient bushman rock sites and more that 140 bird species. Plains game include Gemsbok, Eland, Bontebok, Red Hartebeest, Grey Rhebok, Cape Mountain Zebra, Black Wildebeest, Springbok and other mammal species. Enjoy rock art river walks, mountain biking and swimming in crystal clear rock pools. Evening game drives with complimentary sundowners and snacks offer sightings of the rare Aardwolf, African Wild Cat, Bat-eared Fox, Cape Fox and Porcupine. Oudrif Farm is a real gem, located on the banks of the Doring River. The greatest attraction of Oudrif has to be its complete isolation - it is literally in the middle of nowhere and offers complete relaxation to weary city slickers and adventurers alike. Oudrif has much to offer guests: 300 million year old fossils and delicate rock art sites amongst indigenous fynbos and abundant birdlife. The essence of Oudrif is the Doring River with swimming in the beautiful river water, fishing throughout the year and white water rafting and canoeing in season (winter and spring). The five straw-bale chalets are absolutely delightful - stylish and spacious with a clean-cut organic look that is very refreshing.

Today you drive to Cape Town airport where you return your rental car.
