"Petru and all your helpers.
You have yet to meet us but because of you we had one of our best excursions ever. I sent this along to show you that we consider you a friend and have already told half of our world that you are great. Expect calls daily!
God Bless
Esperanza and Steve Nadeau, USA"
"Dear Lize
My wife and myself have been visiting Africa many times, from Botswana, Kenya, Tanzania to Ruanda and Burundi; this trip has been amongst the best prepared and enjoyable we had. After each location, we thought that it would be difficult not to be frustrated at our next destination. Jatinga Country Lodge, Thornybush Main Lodge, Sabi-Sabi Little Bush Camp, Reilly's Rock, White Elephant Safari Lodge and Thonga Beach Lodge have been a succession of positive surprises, each location having a different personality and approach (welcome, site, food, rangers, accommodations, game drives....) but always outstanding. People have been so nice with us. The "bouquet" was well assorted and balanced.
Thank you again for your nice work.

"Hi Petru
Just got back to Madrid, and yes, everything worked perfectly. We were very impressed with the execution of all of the various pick-ups, deliveries, reservations etc., and if you ever need a reference as to the quality of the services that you offer, we are it! Thanks again from both of us for having made the vacation enjoyable, relaxing, and, above all, trouble free.
Sincerely,
Anthony Bloom - Madrid, Spain"
"Dearest Jane
Perfect trip! I cannot thank you enought for ALL that you did - before and during the trip. The airlines problem was totally my issue but you tried so hard to help! It was a lesson for me.
The B&B's were incredible! Both Moon Tide and Hog Hollow... stunning. I think we've made great friends at Klein Bosheuwel as well. Zambezi Waterfront won the worst hotel award, but it gives great stories as well to share with our friends - so no harm done !! Life!!
Our daughter is enrolled in University (and has an apartment) in Port Elizabeth. I know we will be back to beautiful South African again.
Thank you, Thank you so much for everything!
Fondly, Carol Richmond - USA"
"Dear Lize
I would like to take the opportunity to express our gratitude for your organisation of our recent trip. We were very pleased with all the venues selected and the flawless execution. We found your customer care and follow up to be excellent.
Should we return to South Africa, we will certainly be in touch.
Thanks again and best regards
Adrian Coates, UK"
"Dear Jane
Wow, how can I say thank you?
Wydah, and you in particular, assisted Jean and Sam with such care and compassion. It is truly a testament to you, Wydah and all those working within your network that you were able to accommodate the (daily) changes and make a trip that they will NEVER forget. Not necessarily the one that was originally planned, but one that they will NEVER forget. The hospitality, medical care, kindness, flexibly, the warmth and beauty of the country and people.
I feel that ATC is fortunate to partner with such a dedicated team. Obviously it gives us 200% confidence when we send our clients to you.
I am glad that Sam and Jean had the chance to meet up with you in CPT and express their personal thanks and endless gratitude.
Let me say once again how delighted and impressed I am with your flexibility and care for my aunt and uncle. When I said a week before their trip please won't you go the "extra" mile as they are family - I never though we'd be talking "two Oceans" or "Comrades" extra miles.
baie baie dankie ...

"Greetings from the Rocky Mountain West, Jane, where there is snow on the ground this morning.
There is no way, Jane, we can adequately thank you for all the time, effort, trouble and confusion you went through on our behalf when so much of our trip had to be cancelled because of my emergency eye operation. Every day, and many times hourly, we were talking to you about the uncertainty of our situation. You came through in BLAZING colors on all fronts to make our trip to South Africa forever memorable. You arranged and rearranged each day's itinerary, you lined up people to help us at every juncture and you worked 24/7 on our behalf. Never have we had such assistance on a trip. How you ever found wonderful Liam Michel to drive us to Cape Town is still one of the serendipities of the trip. Then, when you met us at the Portswood Hotel when we arrived in Cape Town and spent time with us and then made important arrangements there for us so that our stay there would be comfortable, scenic and relaxing, this went far beyond your role as our travel agent. Having that last breakfast in Cape Town with you was a perfect and fitting conclusion to our sojourn.
Just a brief report: after our breakfast with you at the hotel, I went to Dr. Anker's office and she had come in from her vacation to meet us. She was alone in her office and greeted us warmly. She examined my eye for about 30-35 minutes and declared me fit for air travel. She only charged me $30 U.S. Jean and I are still in disbelief over the outstanding medical care we received in your country and have told family and friends about it in glowing detail. Further, we have sung the praises of South Africa's people (all so friendly and helpful), the diverse and captivating landscape and the work being done by so many to move your country forward in the world.
We'll never forget you nor this trip which left our memory banks completely brimming over. We can only adequately repay you if you'll make a trip to Colorado to visit us and Karen. The welcome mat is out.
Warmest Wishes and Grateful Thanks,
Sam and Jean Guyton - Colorado, USA"
"Hi Jane,
Now that we're back and I've caught up with all the thousands
of emails, I just wanted to drop you a few lines about our trip.
Umlani: Outrageously brilliant! THE perfect place for us in every
sense - location, accommodation, hosts, atmosphere and most of
all our private ranger Brendon Schmikl (who was exactly what we
had hoped for). We both KNOW that we'll return to Umlani Bush
Camp many more times. Nothing else to say really, apart from that
we HIGHLY recommend it.
Notten's: Great place but not really for us. A little too posh
and a little to pompous - yet great to have experienced it. A
real shame we couldn't get a private driver there, the whole group
experience felt a little forced and the drives very mass-tourism.
The actual facilities are not to be faulted, although the little
special touches we experienced in (the apparently less luxurious)
Umlani were missing. Definitely a destination for an older crowd.
Happy to have seen it but won't return.
Other: Meet & greet at JNB was perfect. Nel Air was fabulous
(especially since we were able to get off at the first stop) and
the other flight to Skukuza was great as well, although the pilot
had a different departure time (11 instead of our time of 12 noon)
and we nearly missed him. Guy from Mfafa Tours who drove us to
Swaziland was a great guy and we had a very pleasant experience
yet again.
So, to sum up, I owe Chris Doyle a barrel of beer for having
passed on your details. Thank you very much for your patience
in advance with all the changes and for putting together a truly
magic experience for us. We're already in the throws of trying
to plan our next trip(s) and I will be in touch as soon as we
know where and when.
All the best and we'll be in touch shortly,
Regards
Lars Joechen - Dubai"
"Jane, I cant thank you enough for all you and your company
did to make our trip the best trip we have ever taken. You have
a wonderful country with drop dead gorgeous scenery. All of the
accomodations were great. The Tsitsikamma Lodge was an oasis of
calm, Oudtshoorn was beautiful (but really, really cold at night)
and Franschoek was like staying in a 5 star hotel. All the hosts
were great. We didnt have enough time in Capetown and we ran to
Table Mountain and got the last tickets sold that day. We had
a beautiful time seeing the sunset. I cant speak enough about
the Kruger National Park. A big thanks to Peter for giving us
his knowledge about the animals and the region. Big surprise,
not only were there no mosquitos, there were no bugs. Peter said
he would eat his hat if we even saw a mosquito. This trip wetted
my appetite for South Africa and hopefully we can return. A longer
stay in Capetown is in order. We would definitely give you a call
when that happens for you took such good care of us. I dont know
when, but we will be back.
Yours,
Darryl Hollister - Massachusetts, USA"
"WOW !!!!
Jane, Obviously with what happened last year, we were really
looking forward to this trip to Namibia, but this went beyond
all expectations and it truly was fantastic. The people, the country,
the lodges, the weather and the car were all exceptional. It started
with the car hire. Although not totally necessary, I would certainly
recommend the 4x4, particularly when you have to drive on the
gravel roads (which is most of the time). Trips that took 3 -
4 hours would easily take 5 - 6 in a saloon car. We were fortunate
enough in over 2,800 km that we did not suffer a puncture and
due to an additional fuel tank, never came close to running out
of petrol. The 4x4 was great. June was a brilliant month to go.
The weather was perfect, the animals were easily seen and in great
condition. Most of the lodges had very low occupancy or even none,
which was great for us and particularly on the game drives with
the vehicle several times to ourselves. So, now I'm all depressed.
But seriously Jane the places you chose were superb and everyone
treated us so well. From picking up the tickets in Jo'burg, the
car in Windhoek, our anniversary, arriving 5 hours early in Damaraland,
changing some of the bookings, the lodges/chalets, food, game
- everything went perfect. Thank you so much for organising such
a fantastic and memorable trip.
Chris & Sarah Doyle - UK"
"Esna, we have had the most fantastic holiday possible -
thank you to you, Jane and all your team. Our son, Phillip, and
his partner, Ann, have heard us tell them about how beautiful
and diverse South Africa is; how wonderful the animals are; how
friendly everybody is; and now they have experienced it themselves,
and agree with everything we have said. I cannot express just
how much we have loved every minute of it. Two nights at Cleopatra
Lodge and we have all put on weight. The game lodges - Umlani,
Honeyguide and Zululand Tree Lodge were all fantastic. We even
went horse riding and got very close to two large rhinos. Incidentally,
the courier who met us at Jo'burg was very good. The flight from
Frankfurt was an hour late, because they had to change the plane.
This meant that when we landed, instead of being the first jumbo
into Jo'burg airport, we were the last and it took us an hour
to clear customs - making us two hours late. But he was there
waiting for us and looked after us, helping us to find Avis Car
Hire. Thank you again, for organising a memorable holiday for
us all.
Don, Lynne, Phillip Smith and Ann Shropshire - Cheshire, UK"
"Adriette, we had a wonderful trip, everything worked out
as planned.
I Will be glad to recommend your services.
Thanks, Dan Torten - Egypt"
"Adriette, I am finally getting around to clearing up my
e mail obligations, sorry it took so long. Don and Marilyn could
not have been happier with the trip that you put together for
them. They had a great trip to Zambia and Botswana and the stops
on the trip south were situated perfectly to break up the long
drive. They loved the B&B’s in Bloemfontein and Swellendam.
The stay with Ted & Bits was well worth going a bit out of
the way for after we decided to take an alternative route rather
than the N1.
We look forward to our next meeting.
Jerry & Luanne Utter - USA"
"Dear Jane, Once again thanks for your personal and really
professional handling of all matters. We will recommend Wydah
Tours to all we hear intend to travel to Southern Africa.
Gisela & Erik Cavalli-Bjorkman - Sweden"
"Jane, the Zimbabwe holiday that you planned for us was
in one word, wonderful! The lodges where we stayed were wonderful
too and the people were extremely kind. The ranger was fantastic
and we were very fortunate to see a leopard sighting. I also did
a bungee jump in Zambia which was fantastic!!
See you again.
Hiroshi Murano - Tokyo, Japan"
"Esna, I want to tell you about the wonderful time we had
on our last vacation. River Bend Country House was without a doubt
the best accommodation we have ever had on vacation. The setting
was incredible and the lodge took care of our every need and pampered
us, especially the kids. Truly a 5 star experience!! The other
stops on the tour were good as well and they really took good
care of the kids.
Thanks for your help in our past trips, we will give your name
and contact info to all the folks here at Schlumberger
in Nigeria.
Mark Priest - Port Harcourt, Nigeria"
"Esna, thank you so much for your wonderful organised trip
that you created for us! We did not have one bad day... in fact
it was an absolutely fantastic holiday!!
Most happy!!!
Dennis VanMiddlesworth - California, USA"
Esna, we would like to thank you for arranging the most fantastic
holiday for us. We loved every minute of it. Every stay you planned,
from Hluhluwe River Lodge to Cleopatra Mountain Inn was absolutely
just what we wanted. We even tried horse riding at Kosi Forest
Lodge - something we have not done for 30 years! We saw dolphins
surfing in the sea at Ballito and the setting and food at Cleopatra
just cannot be described, they have to be experienced. Richard
Poytons cooking is just so exquisite no wonder your President
visits there.
Thank you again, we had a wonderful holiday.
Don and Lynne Smith - Cheshire, UK"
"My husband and I recently returned from what has to be
the most spectacular vacation we have ever taken over the 30 years
we have been traveling. This was a trip to Botswana, South Africa
and Zimbabwe for 31 days, with overnight stops in London going
there and return.
We happened upon Wydah Tours in Cape Town, South Africa while
browsing the internet. We sent an outline of what we wanted, and
they customised a 2 week tour for us. Ms Esna Louw at Wydah Tours,
arranged this part of our trip, which was flawless. She patiently
answered all of our questions and concerns promptly. It was such
a pleasure dealing with her. There was no pressure or hassle.
All the paperwork we received upon arrival was perfectly in order
for the whole of those 2 weeks, thanks to Esna.
We left San Francisco, flew to London overnight and then to Johannesburg.
A flight from there took us to Sun City, a resort area, for 3
days to rest. The next stop was 2 days in Victoria Falls at the
Victoria Falls Hotel, a magnificent experience. Then we spent
two days each at three game reserves in Botswana - Chobe Lodge,
Kings Pool camp and Mombo Camp. The staff at each camp was excellent
and took care of our every need. The game drives were fabulous
and accommodation ranged from very comfortable to luxurious. The
food at the last two camps was as good as a gourmet restaurant
in San Francisco. The cost of these 2 weeks included accommodation,
all meals, wine, liquor and all transportation within the country.
We highly recommend Esna and Wydah Tours for any of your African
travels.
Barbara and Mitch Danzik, San Francisco - USA"
"Esna, on behalf of our group , I just want to thank you
for the wonderful holiday that we enjoyed in both Namibia and
South Africa. All the plans and arrangements went very smoothly.
We all had a very wonderful and memorable holiday. Thank you also
for some of the special lodges that you booked us into. They were
special in their location and comfortable and luxurious in their
accommodation. Thank you also for taking your own time out to
come and see us and meet the group at the Vineyard Hotel on the
monday night. It was good to meet you face to face and to put
a face
to a name.
Many thanks again for all your time and effort.
Revd Des Potter - UK"
"Esna, as anticipated, your arrangements were impeccable,
thus we enjoyed a terrific holiday. Certainly, you will hear from
me on my next visit (quite soon, I suspect).
Paul Harrison - New York, USA"
"Esna, I just wanted to say thank you again for the perfect
organisation of our tour through SA. Everything worked perfectly
well, the hotels were very nice, the tour guides and drivers were
extremely friendly and competent, who took us around the first
5 days in Cape Town.
Thanks again and all the best to you and your team.
Inge Schultes - Vienna, Austria"
"Esna, just returned from our honeymoon trip.... WOW!!!
Exceeded all of our expectations. Everything was so wonderful.
Anyway, just wanted to say thank you for all your help. You did
a great job and we really appreciate it!!
Brad and Tara Moulder - Iowa, USA"
"Jenny, Candy and I really enjoyed meeting you and Johan
in Cape Town. Our trip was absolutely superb and we cannot imagine
anything that we would have changed. From the beginnings of our
tour of Soweto to the beauty of the Okavango Delta, experienced
at Camp Okuti, to the extraordinary game we saw in Chobe, to the
excitement of our canoe safari along the lower Zambezi river,
to the exquisite diving at Marlin Lodge in Mosambique, to the
luxury and adventure at Inyati and finally, our exquisite stay
at Villa Via - all of this was beautifully planned by you and
Candy. For your effort, we are very grateful.
Visiting five countries in such short time over a span of 30
days in such a foreign and beautiful continent was
quite an adventure for our entire family and a fantastic trip
that each of us will allways cherish. We hope to see you on your
endless summer adventure.
Bill Falik - California, USA"
"Jenny, cant believe it, but were home again. It was fun
to meet you both in Cape Town and we really appreciate the weather
you arranged for us. I think Cape Town is one of the most beautiful
and fun cities Ive experienced. In all, the trip was a huge success
and we are still in awe over how much we did and saw in a months
time. Ill certainly pass along your name if any of my friends
want to plan a trip to Southern Africa.
So, many thanks for your help and expertise. Please do let us
know when you are in California...
Diana and family - California, USA"
"Johan and Jenny, thanks to you both for organising such
a fantastic holiday. We both had a very enjoyable time, with the
exception of some bad weather in SA and Debbies short lived career
as a Oudtshoorn Ostrich jockey, everything went unbelievably smooth.
With 8 seperate flights on the holiday we were only delayed by
a total of 2 hours and no lost luggage! Camp Okuti was probably
the highlight, we saw leopard and cheetah and the atmosphere was
particularly friendly.
All we need now is a holiday to recover.
Debbie and Robert Clench"
