Fosters Manor

Foster's Manor one of the only ostrich feather palaces in South Africa established as a luxury guest house. Foster's Manor, a unique combination of sandstone and Tudor architecture, was built in 1902 during the ostrich-feather boom period. The architect, Charles Bullock, designed this double-storied manor house for a local Attorney, Mr James Alexander Foster, M.L.A. An overnight stay at Foster's Manor is an experience that you will never forget. All rooms are equipped with the modern day luxury, but have kept the atmosphere of the turn of the century.
