Day 1
On arrival at Cape Town International Airport you are met and welcomed
by Paradise Touring who will hand over your detailed itinerary, road
atlas and vouchers. Paradise Touring to assist you to the Avis rental
desk. Collect your Group B rental car, VW Polo Hatchback or similar
with aircon / manual transmission / radio/tape / power steering.
Welcome to Cape Town! Drive to Glen Avon Lodge in the beautiful suburb
of Constantia for your 3-night stay. (1 x double room) 4-course gourmet
dinner included in your first night's stay.
Glen Avon Lodge

your every wish is catered for. Fine cuisine, provided by Wendy,a

lodge, Cape Dutch in architecture, is set amidst a charming garden

and Alfred Waterfront to the Atlantic and Indian Ocean Seaboards.
Central to the Kirstenbosch Gardens, historical wine farms, a choice
of four close by golf courses and the finest restaurants, make Glen

Cape Town
Cape Town is one of the most beautifully situated cities in the world.
Cradled by Table Mountain, it has immense charm and historical interest
whilst its unique cultural blend; part African, part European and
part Asian, makes for a cosmopolitan experience. Take the cable car
up Table Mountain, visit the colourful Malay quarter or meander through
the wonderful Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Browse through the vibrant
Greenmarket Square, take a boat trip to Robben Island or simply relax
on one of the beaches. The Cape Peninsula offers one of the finest
coastal drives in Africa to the Cape of Good Hope. Here you might
see whales breeching just off the bay or quirky jackass penguins on
Boulder's Beach.
Day 4
Today you continue to the Winelands for your 2-night stay in Franschhoek,
the gourmet capital of South Africa. Stay at Rusthof Country House
(1 x deluxe room). Rusthof does not serve dinners. Choose one of the
world famous restaurants in Franschhoek (only minutes away from Rusthof)
for dinner. It is difficult to choose between all these superb restaurants
- we suggest Le Quartier Francais and Ruben's.
Rusthof Country House
Rusthof Country House is an exclusive guest house catering for twelve
guests at most. Rusthof is situated in the heart of the historic French
Huguenot valley of Franschhoek, known as the food and wine capital
of South Africa, and is surrounded by large oak trees and magnificent
mountains. Each of the spacious bedrooms has its own unique character,
with pure cotton bed linen, coffee and tea facilities and the most
luxurious interior décor. All the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms
with seperate bath and shower. They are fully air-conditioned and
have underfloor heating (even the bathrooms!).

The Winelands
The Cape Winelands lie less than an hour from Cape Town, an area of
exquisite beauty with rocky mountains overlooking green vineyards.
Oak avenues lead to elegant Cape Dutch wine estates and some of the
most charming towns and villages in South Africa. The main pleasure
of this region is the enjoyment of the good life: appreciating the
wine and the unique architecture; savouring long, lazy meals at one
of the many excellent restaurants or browsing in the craft studios
and art galleries.
Day 6
Check out, say your good-byes and continue to Bartholomeus Klip Farmhouse
in the northern Winelands for a unique experience. (1 x luxury room).
Your 2-night stay incl. a full country brunch each morning and 3-course
dinners, early morning teas, coffee and pastries, generous afternoon
tea; Morning and evening excursion - game drives, bird watching; Use
of mountain bikes, windsurfers, canoes and all other facilities.

by open vistas of farmlands and fynbos. Chef Louise Gillett's adventurous
cooking gives the classics a fresh twist and, as well as her delicious

After your last breakfast at Bartholomeus Klip, continue to Agulhas,
situated at the most Southern tip of Africa. A 4-course gourmet dinner
included (1 x classic room).

...a charming blend of beauty, luxury and warm hospitality, perched on a hill of rare fynbos overlooking the meeting place of the Atlantic and Indian oceans.
The natural stone guest house offers a selection of well-appointed rooms furnished in elegant antiques. The country restaurant serves gourmet local cuisine, specializing in fresh fish caught daily on the Agulhas banks.

Day 9
After a breakfast overlooking the ocean, check out and continue to Plettenberg Bay on the famous Garden Route. Stay at Lairds Lodge Country estate for the following 2 nights. (1 x standard room) A 4-course Gourmet Dinner included both nights.

Day 14
After your last breakfast return to Port Elizabeth Airport, return
your car and board the flight to Johannesburg. Connect with your
