Honeyguide Mantobeni Tented Safari Camp

At Honeyguide Mantobeni camp, we have stripped away all the barriers between the visitor and the environment. While retaining enough of the creature comforts to satisfy the luxury-loving animal in you.

The tented camp is set among Tamboti trees on the banks of a riverbed. From the sundeck of the sparkling swimming pool, you can watch game like elephant visiting the nearby waterhole to enjoy theit own cooling off time.

The reception are has a large lounge, indoor and outdoor dining facilities and a complimentary bar with a climate-controlled wine cellar, stocked with a wide range of fine South African vintages to browse through and enjoy.


You sleep in a double or twin bedded tents with unrestricted views of the virgin bush and surrounded by the soothing symphony of sound it creates.

The tents are comfortably furnished in contemporary style with welcoming leather couches. Each tent has own private, but open-air bathroom with a large free standing bath, double shower and seperate toilet.

ACTIVITIES

Guests wake each morning to the sound of beating drums. Following early morning refreshments served in the tents, activities at Honeyguide include game drives in open game viewing vehicles in the early morning and late afternoon or evening. The morning drive is followed by a sumptuous breakfast, after which guests can relax at the pool, participate in a short foot safari with one of the guides or view passing game from the hide at the waterhole next to the camp. During game drives, refreshments and complimentary snacks are served at a scenic spot, particularly at sunset when the view from the Mohwareng Hills is spectacular!
