Impalila Island Lodge
At Impalila Island Lodge we combine our guest's leisure time creatively
with excellent, unobtrusive service, outstanding cuisine and a variety of
activities, including sunset game cruises along the Chobe River, mokoro
(dug-out canoes) trips, island walks, excellent birding and tiger fishing,
as well as visits to traditional fishing villages. The lodge in centred
innovatively around two ancient baobab trees on Impalila Island at the
confluence of the Zambezi and Chobe rivers, where Namibia meets Botswana,
Zimbabwe and Zambia. We have eight luxury wood-and-thatch en-suites
chalets, each privately situated with elevated decks at the waters edge,
a swimming pool, curio shop, reference library and landing strip.
