Knysna Log Inn
The Knysna Log-Inn embodies an "indigenous" concept that
combines the character and the spirit of the surrounding indigenous forests
with Knysna's romantic history.
The famous Knysna Heads; two dramatic rock sentinels guarding the entrance
to the lagoon, mark the passage to the deep blue Indian Ocean.
The indigenous Knysna forests, wrapped in myth and mist, gave birth to a
timber industry that once was the lifeblood of the town. This picturesque
town, with its antique shops and restaurants, evokes the charm of a bygone
era.
The peaceful mirror of the Knysna lagoon is a paradise for water enthusiasts
and is suited to a wide variety of watersports.
First floor rooms have the added facility of a balcony with seating area,
while the loft rooms offer slightly larger floor space area with an additional
couch. The couch converts to a very comfortable sleeper couch, should guests
have children or an extra person sharing the room. The loft rooms do not have
a balcony.
The ground floor houses a lush tropical pool area with a heated
swimming pool, wooden sun deck, jacuzzi and sauna.
