21 Day Namibia, Botswana, Vic Falls & Kruger Park Tour

Day 1
On arrival in Windhoek Airport you proceed to the Avis car rental kiosk where you collect your rental car. Group B, VW Polo or similar, Manual, Power steering, Air-conditioning, Radio/Tape. Drive to the Windhoek Hotel & Country Club where you stay overnight.

Windhoek Hotel and Country Club
The hotel offer luxury, entertainment and world class service. This resort boasts the Kokerboom Restaurant and Terrace. Accommodation consists of double-storey Presidential Suite, two Executive Suites and 150 beautifully appointed bedrooms, all equipped with air conditioning, color TV and fridge bar. Enjoy the casino or relax by the pool and play tennis.

Day 2
Today you drive to Sossusvlei situated in the Namib Naukluft park and Sossusvlei Lodge where you stay for the next two nights.

Sossusvlei Lodge
For all who appreciate the unique, the Namib desert, with towering dunes etched against the pale desert sky, is a singular experience. Amidst the solitary silence, at the entrance to the Namib Naukluft Park, is the Sossusvlei Lodge, blending with the environment as naturally as the majestic which encircle it. Each bedroom has a 180 degrees view to the ridges of the Naukluft and Tsaris mountains and across the vast plains dotted with camel thorn trees. The Sossusvlei Lodge is an exhilarating experience that will saturate your soul.

Day 4
Today you drive across to Swakopmund - a lively coastal town with strong German history and the Swakopmund Hotel where you stay for the next two nights.

Swakopmund Hotel
Built in and around the beautifully restored Old Station building, the hotel combines renowned Namibian hospitality with impeccable service and stylish comfort. The hotel has 90 spacious superior rooms overlooking a charming courtyard and heated outdoor swimming pool. The Platform One Restaurant is the place to feast to your heart's content on the Namibia's bountiful sea harvest. The splendid display of mouthwatering buffets and the dessert table all offer irresistible temptations. Day 5
Visit the Welwitchia Plantations and Moon landscape or option hiring of quad bikes through the dunes etc.

Day 6
Today you drive to the Damaraland area and Twyfelfontein, famous for the Burnt mountain, petrified forest and other interesting phenomenons. Stay overnight at Twyfelfontein Lodge.

Twyfelfontein Lodge
This new lodge is situated 4 km from the historic Twyfelfontein site and offers 50 en suite double rooms. The buildings are constructed in such a way that they have minimum impact by hiding them behind existing sandstone formations. If not relaxing at the pool, excursions to the Burnt mountain, rock engravings, organ pipes and petrified Forest are an unforgettable experience.

Day 7
Today you drive towards the Etosha National Park and Toshari Inn, situated outside the park, where you stay for the next two nights.

Toshari Inn
Offering comfortable and convenient accommodation only 26 km from Okaukeujo entrance to the Etosha National Park. All 16 chalets have king size beds and bathrooms en suite. The inner courtyard is an ideal place to enjoy sundowners and romantic dinners under the stars.

Today you drive back to Windhoek and the Windhoek Hotel & Country Club Hotel where you stay overnight.

Day 10
Today you drive back to Windhoek Airport where you return your rental car before you check in for your flight to Maun. On arrival in Maun you are met for your air transfer to Camp Okuti where you stay for the next two nights.

Camp Okuti
Situated in the remote north eastern part of the Okavango Delta, positioned under large trees at the edge of the Xakanaxa Lagoon and within close range of shallow flood plains, papyrus swamps and dense riverine forest. It is a small and private camp catering for a maximum of 20 guests, accommodated in insect-proof thatched chalets with en suite bathroom. Here you are served with hot showers and other amenities necessary to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. Okuti's safaris are conducted on open safari vehicles, which take guests into the Moremi Game Reserve where all of Africa's larger mammals may be found, often in large herds. Alternatively you may choose to venture upstream on a motorboat safari.

Day 12
This morning you are collected from your lodge for your air transfer to Kasane Airport. On arrival in Kasane you are met for your road transfer to Chobe Game Lodge where you stay for the next two nights.

Chobe Game Lodge
This is one of Botswana's most exclusive safari resorts. Situated in the remote and unspoiled northern extremity of the Park and approximately 90 kilometres west of Victoria Falls, the lodge offers every luxury and comfort for your sojourn in the wilds. The architecture is Moorish and graceful - high arches, barrel-vault ceilings and tiled floors create an atmosphere of spaciousness and tranquillity. All 48 rooms are tastefully furnished and cooled by overhead punkah-punkah fans. All rooms overlook the perennial Chobe River and adjacent Caprivi flood plains. Facilities within the lodge include a well stocked curio shop, wildlife reference library and stylishly decorated Linyanti bar and lounge area. Game drive are conducted in open four-wheel drive vehicles. The Chobe flood plain is renowned for its concentration of buffalo and elephant, and the late afternoon in particular provides spectacular viewing. Day 14
This morning you are collected from your lodge for your road transfer to Victoria Falls and the Kingdom Hotel where you stay for the next three nights.

Kingdom Hotel
This is the closest hotel to the Victoria Falls. The distinctive Zimbabwean design is based on the Great Zimbabwe monument in Masvingo. The Kingdom's total room complement is 300 in separate two and three storey units. An attractive water feature in the form of a man made lake gives the hotel bedrooms the impression of having been built on the edge of the lake. Each room have the following facilities: Satellite TV, tea/coffee making facilities, air conditioning, overhead fans, 24 hour room service and laundry facilities. The lake is stocked with fish and a variety of bird life. The hotel is a self-enclosed resort, with the main features being a gaming room featuring interactive video games, creche and children's play area.

Day 17
This morning you are collected from your hotel for your transfer to Victoria Falls airport where you check in for your flight to Johannesburg. On arrival in Johannesburg you are met and transferred to the HIGC Sandton City where you stay overnight.

HIGC Sandton City
Situated in the centre of the Sandton business centre - the new heartbeat of Johannesburg. The hotel has 444 rooms on 5 floors. The hotel offers a full laundry service, room meal service, tea/coffee facilities, hairdryer, colour TV, M-Net and pay movie channel. There is a lovely restaurant and Irish pub. Relax around the outdoor pool. The hotel is within walking distance of Sandton City shopping mall, Sandton Square and Village Walk. There is also a hairdresser and sauna.

Day 18
This morning you are collected from your hotel for your transfer to Johannesburg Airport where you check in for your flight to Hoedspruit Airport. On arrival in Hoedspruit you are met and transferred to the Timbavati Game Reserve and Umlani Bush Camp where you stay for the next three nights.

Umlani Bushcamp
Umlani Bushcamp situated in one of South Africa's great private reserves - the Timbavati - now part of the greater Kruger National Park. Umlani Bushcamp is an exclusive rustic lodge accommodating only 16 guests in en suite reed and thatch rondavels. The shower is under the stars in an enclosure. Walks, day and night drives in search of the big 5, under the guidance of professional rangers and trackers give you a complete wildlife experience - you'll become involved with game big and small as well a diverse and colourful birdlife. Enjoy pre-dinner drinks in the convivial bar overlooking the Nsharalumi river course or around a roaring fire in the boma. Watch the chef put the finishing touches to the dinner he has prepared on the open fire. Dinner is served accompanied by fine South African wines, while swopping stories and sightings with your fellow guests with the sounds of a distant lion calling out in the night.
