Those of a less active disposition can, in season, watch whales frolicking right in
front of the house. The Spaarwaters can show you a tidal swimmingpool, and
there is a fynbos garden too with tiny orchids, a natural playground for local
birds. The guest house is arranged around a central hall and an enclosed
verandah, and the four wood-floored rooms have shutters, mohair rugs, silk
duvets and particularly attractive beds. They are bright and fresh in feel and
the Spaarwaters have brought great taste to bear. Two have their own sea-facing
sitting rooms and two have bigger bathrooms with bath and showers - you choose.
They have a swimmingpool too and many books (on whales) to read beside it.
Excellent golf nearby. Closed End of May - mid July.
