Day 1 & 2 Moremi Crossing, Okavango Delta, Botswana
Guests arrive at Maun Airport, where a representative will meet them and take them to the Moremi Crossing by light aircraft. Moremi Crossing lies on an Island, Ntswi, at the most southern part of Chief's island. You will be able to see the intricate floodplains and waterways from the elevated position of the aircraft. The Moremi Crossing is a bevy of grasslands, floodplains, and woodlands dotted with Mokolwane palm islands.
Moremi Crossings safari holiday camp can accommodate guests in complete comfort. 16 vintage en-suite safari tents are all fitted with their own private wooden decks. The camp is large and open plan in style and the open living areas peel over split level decks showcasing wildlife and nature in pristine surroundings. A dining room, bar and lounge area all lead to a tranquil shaded pool. This camp is water based, so access to the site will be via mokoro.
Day 3 & 4 Khwai Tented Camp, Okavango Delta
An early morning activity and breakfast and then onto Khwai tented camp - you will stay at this campsite for two nights. This Botswana safari camp is the perfect setting to view a natural wildlife community living in harmony. The Khwai River is host to some of the most stunning wildlife viewing on the Moremi Crossing. This camp only has 8 bedded tents which sleep two guests each. The tents sit high above the river, each has been styled in luxury and an indulgent Hemingway finishes. Khwai camp offers en-suite bathroom and flushing toilets. This is a plush styled camp with easy to reach expeditions to the Moremi Game Reserve. You will be overawed by the variety of wildlife, elephants, buffalos, zebras, loins, leopards, elands, hippos and hyenas to name a few.
Day 5 & 6 Kubu Lodge, Kasane, near Chobe National park
If time permits, a last morning activity and then guests are transferred to Kasane where a Kubu Lodge staff member will drive you directly to the lodge. This privately owned lodge sits on the banks of the Chobe River, neighbouring the Chobe National Park and is an hour's drive from the spectacular Victoria Falls. Main lodge facilities include a bar, restaurant and a secluded swimming pool, from where you will be treated to a high density of elephants, as these magnificent creatures congregate in large herds at the River.
Day 7 & 8 Zambezi Sun, Livingstone
A Botswana safari would not be complete without a little indulgence in Livingstone. An early morning transfer by road and then by boat to the Zambezi Sun Hotel in Livingstone, the hotel is located on the eastern side of the majestic Victoria Falls. Visiting the Victoria Falls by foot is easily done from the hotel. The Zambezi Sun Hotel has 212 guest rooms and all have been decorated in an African Style. A landscaped garden and pool with shaded balconies allow guests to relax and unwind in comfort.
Day 9 Safari ends in Livingstone
After breakfast, guests will be transferred to Livingstone airport. Any further necessary arrangements are to be made by guests in advance.
