The train continues and crosses the magnificent Zambezi River travelling north and then eastwards through Zambia, joining the Tazara Railway Line at Kapiri Mposhe. Here you can visit the Chisimba Falls. The train then travels towards the Zambian/Tanzanian border, almost to the midpoint between Africa?s two Great Rift Valley Lakes.
The train descends into the Rift Valley and guests can soak up the spectacular vistas as the train travels through tunnels and the escarpment. On the last day, it passes the Selous Game Reserve, which is seen as one of the most awesome and largest on the continent.
