Quilálea Island
Quilálea sanctuary nestles in a forgotten corner of
Northern Mozambique's Quirambas Archipelago, providing a malaria-free haven
of luxury and beauty with the highest degree of seclusion on an entirely
private and uninhabited tropical island. Nine luxurious island villas built
from local stone and thatch have been lavishly decorated with crafted Makonde
sculptures. Each villa's private deck and shower have uninterrupted panoramic
views of the blue waters of the Indian Ocean. The Quirimbas sanctuary
conserves tropical birds, humpback whales, sea turtles and rare dugongs.
The sanctuary can be explored by motorboat with unforgettable scuba diving
and snorkeling opportunities.
