Ras Nungwi Beach Hotel

The Ras Ningwi Beach resort is situated on Zanzibar's finest beach, on the North East Coast. This new resort offers comfortable accommodation in double en suite rooms, each with a private balcony. Front chalets overlooking the turquoise expanse of the Indian Ocean can be requested for a supplement.

The hotel does not have hot water, and ceiling fans are powered by a generator. There is an open-air bar restaurant providing good food and wonderful view of the ocean and coral reef. This area has some of the best diving spots in Zanzibar.

There are numerous reefs in the vicinity, including the well known Mnemba Island and "Leven Banks". A fully equipped scuba school offers resort courses, PADI courses, as well as catering for the experienced diver. For non divers there is snorkelling on the coral reef, sailing in the local "Ngalawas" and dhow trips to nearby islands.
