Sossusvlei Wildnerness Camp

Set amongst vast desert plains and rugged mountains on a 21 000-ha private property, are nine completely private rock, timber and thatch chalets, each with en-suite bathroom, wooden deck and private plunge pool. Elevated walkways connect the chalets with the main lodge, which comprises a bar, lounge and dining deck area, all under thatch. Situated a mere 30 km from Sesriem, the camp offers close access to Sossusvlei. Activities include early morning excursions to the vlei, where a light brunch is enjoyed under the camel-thorn trees. An optional extra is a daybreak excursion in a hot-air balloon, soaring above some of the highest sand dunes in the world!
