The Table Bay Hotel

Catering for the business and leisure traveller the hotel offers Conference
facilities for groups of up to 300 and a team of Guest Relations Officers who
will advise and assist in planning your leisure activities. The Table Bay
Hotel is only 20 minutes by road from Cape Town International Airport and five
minutes from the centre of the city. Right on the doorstep are the city's
prime retail outlets in the Victoria & Alfred Shopping Centre.
ACCOMMODATION
The Table Bay Hotel has a total of 329 rooms which include standard twin
rooms, standard king rooms, paraplegic rooms, luxury rooms and suites.
There are 13 standard suites, 2 Executive Suites, 1 Superior Suite and 2
Presidential suites. The designer decorated rooms are welcoming and inviting,
representing the epitome of luxury and supreme comfort. All rooms have
spectacular views of both Table Mountain and the harbour or the Atlantic
Ocean and Robben Island. The rooms all feature luxurious walk-in cupboards
and marble finishes, armoires and writing desks and each is equipped with a
butler station, colour satellite television, radio, en-suite bathrooms with
separate showers, marble vanity units with hairdryer and Mediterranean-style
bathrobes and slippers. Telephones are provided in bathrooms, at bedsides and
on each writing desk.
Each has a voice-mail facility and a wake-up call facility. Biz-Comm centres
are provided in all rooms, allowing users to phone, fax, e-mail, copy, print
and store messages, on a private number, accessible only to the individual
guest, ensuring confidentiality. The centre also has ports to allow connection
of lap top computers. The hotel has committed itself to the Tobacco Products
Control Amendment Act to protect the rights of non-smokers and children. There
are 41 non-smoking rooms in the hotel, situated on the East and Centre wings
of the 2nd floor only.

The Table Bay Hotel is part of Cape Town's hugely successful Victoria &
Alfred Waterfront development, with it's fascinating and eclectic mix of
speciality shops, markets, restaurants, bars, museums, cinemas and activities.
It is entirely possible to spend several days at The Waterfront and still not
see all there is to see.
The Two Oceans Aquarium displays South Atlantic fish and other
sea life in a variety of tanks including a huge, open-ocean tank.
Rich in relics, the South African Maritime Museum makes for a
fascinating outing. There are markets, malls, cabarets, buskers
and live bands.
