Trout Lodge

Trout Lodge exudes an air of peace and tranquillity, a sanctuary from the rigours of day to day living. Tucked between sloping hills and pine trees in a quiet valley close to Dullstroom, 7 cottages offer fireplaces for chilly winter nights, a guest lounge and full kitchens. Scrumptious breakfasts are served overlooking the valley. Picnic at the dam, spend the morning horse riding, fishing in the dams, quad biking or relax with a book and enjoy the quiet.

Visit the restaurant, Cranberry Café on the Property. We now not only offer the best meals but also the best setting. We invite you to come and unwind on the deck with a cinnamon sprinkled cappuccino, or spend a lazy afternoon with friends sharing a platter. Experience our gourmet sandwiches or treat the kids to a dreamy pavlova. Let the children roam free and untroubled outside or go on a horseride. All our meals are as personal as delicious and the menu changes regularly. Hours are from 8:00am - 5:00pm daily and we also offer dinner by prior booking. Bring the family on an outing and share our beautiful farm with us with true country hospitality. Johan will also pack you a picnic basket to be enjoyed under the trees or at the dam.
