Tswalu Private Desert Reserve
Tswalu Private Desert Reserve is situated in the northern
Cape Province of South Africa, set at the foot of the Korannaberg Mountains,
bordering the Khalahari desert. The reserve is host to over 40 different
species of game including the desert black rhino, white rhino, brown hyena,
Hartman's mountain zebra and lion. The five star Tswalu Lodge is designed in
classic African style and blends into the Khalahari enviroment whilst offering
unrivalled elegance with its spacious air conditioned suites for just 22
guests. These thatched houses consist of seven luxury double rooms and two
family suites which sleep four guests. All the rooms have separate living
areas and ensuite bathrooms, private balconies with views of the Khalahari,
telephones, fireplace and outside showers. There is also a heated swimming
pool. Activities include horse riding, game walks, game drives in open land
rovers.
